Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Frequent overtime on Fridays
Pay Rate: Starting at $18.50/hour, Full Benefits Package

Job Summary:
Welds and assembles metal pieces and products using wire-feed welding equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares, assembles and tack welds steel frames and other component parts of machinery and equipment.
- Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.
- Operates pneumatic, electric, or manual overhead chain hoists to properly move heavy parts into position for final assembly.
- Operates forklift to move machine parts to other locations of the assembly operation.
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Dependable, motivated and self-starter.
- Reads and understands blueprints and shop drawings, uses a square or combination square, straightedge ruler and tape measure.
- Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing materials, processes, and specifications preferred.
- Welding or mechanical experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
- Must be able to see details at close range.
- Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Must be able to navigate facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, bending, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
- Wear and work in personnel protective equipment.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level is moderate to loud.
- Frequently exposed to airborne particles.
- Exposure to heat/humidity during summer months.
